This morning we left Bangkok and headed south to Cha Am, a sleepy beach side town not far from Hua Hin, where Thai people go to holiday. Bangkok treated us really well and I will miss the amazing buzz of the city but it’s time for some relaxation with yoga in the mornings and evening walks on the beach. The days will be spent exploring the area and hopefully a few hours horizontally on the beach.
The train ride was a blast with lots to look at, both in and outside of the train. Half of the way I sat next to this wonderful Thai lady who kept on pointing out things for me to photograph and even if I didn’t understand anything she was saying we had a nice chat. We only spent two hours next to each other but I was sad to see her leave. Through the window I saw her greet her husband with a big hug and when the train left the platform she turned around and waved with her yellow flowers.
